The Bannatyne Group is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as a Junior Data Analyst. This role is dedicated to transforming data into actionable insights, enhancing decision-making processes across the company. As part of the Head Office, you will be instrumental in shaping data strategies while working in a fully office-based environment.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Collect data from both internal and external sources
  • Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure its accuracy
  • Maintain and update databases and data systems
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations
  • Collaborate with senior analysts to provide recommendations
  • Organise and maintain large sets of structured and unstructured data
  • Assist in developing and maintaining data models and analytical frameworks
  • Support ongoing data analytics projects
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new analytical tools
  • Propose and implement improvements in data processes

This role requires you to have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or related field
  • Proficiency with data visualisation tools like Tableau or PowerBI
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Excel
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to present complex data clearly and simply
  • Experience in analysing large data sets
