The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) supports and regulates nursing and midwifery professionals across the UK. The Data Engineering Team within the Data & Analytics function is integral in modernizing the data platform, including data lakes and warehouses. They are pivotal in data migrations and enhancing reporting capabilities to foster better decision-making and insights.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Modernize and manage the data platform, including data lakes and warehouses.
• Implement data migrations and integrate new data sources.
• Enhance data reporting, analysis, and insight capabilities.

This role requires you to have:

• Proficiency in data engineering roles with a strong focus on analytics.
• Experience with data warehousing, data cleansing, ETL, data modelling, and orchestrations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Data Bricks.
• Familiarity with modern BI tools such as Power BI, Qlikview, and Tableau.

You would benefit from having:
