The role involves enhancing institutional data insights to support the university's EDI goals and collaborating across several teams to instill an EDI-focused data perspective.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver EDI data products, insights, and projects to influence university priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytics scope and business intelligence needs.
- Provide expert guidance on personal and EDI-sensitive data handling in analytics.
- Lead and mentor analysts, developing their technical and analytical skills.
- Develop analytical frameworks to derive actionable insights for performance improvement.
- Conduct robust analysis using diverse datasets to identify key EDI areas and suggest evidence-based recommendations.
- Present analytical findings in compelling narratives to stakeholders across the university.
- Train and guide users of EDI data and insights for optimal decision-making impact.

This role requires you to have:
- Strong mathematical or statistical knowledge through education or equivalent professional experience in data analytics.
- Comprehensive understanding of EDI issues and relevant legislation.
- Proven capability to develop analytical frameworks addressing complex business questions.
- Experience in analyzing diverse data sources and applying statistical techniques.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex analyses to diverse audiences.
- Proficient in manipulating, analyzing, and modeling complex datasets using tools like SQL.

- Experience working with and analyzing staff data metrics.
