Unilever, a global leader in consumer goods, is looking for a Data Scientist to join their thriving Ice Cream R&D team in Europe. This role plays a crucial part in managing digital platforms and systems to enhance the product development process. The team is dedicated to delivering innovative ice cream products across various renowned brands while setting the groundwork for the company's future transitions.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Serve as the PLM expert, ensuring high-quality specifications.
- Review and cleanse data for the European portfolio.
- Improve efficiencies in digital and data systems in collaboration with Marketing Ops.
- Maintain RDC product specification hierarchies to support project initiatives.
- Update and disseminate training materials.
- Define User Requirement Specifications.
- Test new systems and provide feedback for enhancements.
- Support onboarding and training of new starters in PLM.
- Gain expertise in additional digital and data systems such as Prisma and PowerBI.
- Contribute to the European IC business through seasonal activities.
- Assist Offshore Data team with specification-related queries.
- Coordinate with MET teams for missing technical details.
- Support EU RD&I team events as needed.

- Experience with PLM systems and IC specifications hierarchies

- Technical discipline qualification or equivalent experience
