The University of Liverpool's groups led by Andy Jones and Dan Rigden are seeking a bioinformatician passionate about pipeline development and genome annotation as part of a Wellcome Trust funded project. This position focuses on advancing genome annotation for eukaryotic pathogens using AI technologies, enhancing accessibility of the data through the VEuPathDB database.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy AI-driven pipelines for genome annotation.
• Ensure accessibility of annotated genomic data via VEuPathDB.
• Collaborate within a team setting to advance the Wellcome Trust funded project.
