The Big Data Institute at the University of Oxford, in collaboration with Novartis, is seeking a Data Wrangler/Data Scientist. This role is part of a significant partnership aiming to transform drug development using AI. The project leverages data from clinical trials to enhance treatment prediction for multiple sclerosis.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply data processing pipelines for NO.MS image data.
  • Collaborate with scientists and clinicians in data annotation and analysis.
  • Represent the research group at external meetings and seminars.
  • Act as an interface between data analytical and data provisioning teams.

    • Degree in Life Sciences, Computational or equivalent.
    • Experience in programming with Python or R.
    • Experience in bioinformatic techniques and data management.
    • Ability to manage own workload and lead a team.
    • Experience in clinical trial data management.
