Senior Analytics Engineer

VIOOH is a rapidly expanding startup revolutionizing out-of-home advertising. They are building a global platform to automate the trade and delivery of dynamic, data-driven content in outdoor advertising. The Senior Analytics Engineer will join the analytics team to spearhead the development of an end-to-end analytics platform and cultivate an informed understanding of data-driven insights.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Data Analytics Lead to advance the analytics strategy.
• Ensure reliability and performance of data assets with data architects.
• Develop analytics data pipelines in cooperation with the data engineering team.
• Create analytics-ready data models using software engineering practices.
• Promote a self-serve analytics culture, optimizing the data warehouse.
• Oversee the entire analytics process from raw data to visualizations.
• Partner with product and commercial teams to address their analytics needs.

This role requires you to have:

• Extensive experience in data modeling and ETL/ELT pipeline creation.
• Proficiency in SQL for creating efficient data models and answering business questions.
• Understanding of data warehouse design principles.
• Experience with data visualization tools and creating clear visualizations.
• Good understanding of version control using Git.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources and working with JSON files.

You would benefit from having:

• Knowledge of AWS environment tools such as S3, Athena.
• Experience with Python-based tools (Airflow, dbt, pySpark, Pandas).
• Familiarity with Snowflake and Thoughtspot.
• Basic understanding of the command line and Kafka.
• Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field.
• Background in Programmatic/AdTech.
