Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)

Which? is looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer to lead their data initiatives within a Greenfield environment. The role involves developing a cutting-edge data platform, collaborating with data scientists and analysts to enhance data-driven decision-making and product development. The successful candidate will contribute to the organization’s success by optimizing their data processing and storage capabilities.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and operate data migration processes for Snowflake and Segment.
• Manage data lifecycle for insights that guide business decisions.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Scientists to create usable analytical data resources.
• Act as a data consultant for Analytics, Tech, and Product teams.

This role requires you to have:

• Extensive experience in data engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Snowflake, including optimization and cost management.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex query optimization (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Solid Python skills for data pipeline development.
• Experience designing and monitoring ELT pipelines.
