In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Support the buying team with advanced data analysis to enhance decision-making.
• Perform detailed category data analysis to identify revenue growth and cost optimization opportunities.
• Assess supplier performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain financial models to evaluate the profitability of products and suppliers.
• Generate regular sustainability metric reports to support the company's sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT for data integration efforts.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and system improvements.
• Translate complex data findings into actionable reports and presentations.
• Seek continuous improvement in data collection and analysis processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend new technologies.

This role requires you to have:

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, buying, procurement, or category analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Experience with statistical packages for analysing datasets.
• Report writing and presentation skills.
• Understanding of the buying process and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting and financial analysis.
