In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data historian solutions.
• Integrate historian systems with control systems and third-party applications.
• Conduct performance analysis and strategize continuous improvements.
• Design complex data tags for specific project needs.
• Develop custom interfaces to enhance data integration.
• Implement advanced security for historical data.
• Ensure industry compliance and lead audit roles.
• Resolve issues related to data collection, storage, and retrieval.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
• Maintain documentation for configurations and troubleshooting.
• Comply with Quality Management System requirements.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in design, implementation and leadership with AVEVA PI, AspenTech IP.21, AspenTech Inmation, Inductive Automation Ignition, PTC Kepware.
• In-depth knowledge of data integration and historian systems.
• Understanding of industrial processes and automation.
• Expertise with data contextualisation, visualisation and reporting platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell.
• Experience in team leadership and mentoring.
• Good communication skills.
