The Data Engineering team plays a critical role in this mission by developing advanced data pipelines and infrastructure to support comprehensive analytics across ESB's business units. This role is integral to ongoing efforts to optimize data utilization and drive impactful business decisions.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Ensure successful delivery and deployment of data engineering projects across ESB business units.
- Manage data infrastructure platforms including SSIS, Azure Synapse, and Cloudera.
- Develop robust, scalable data models and participate in future data infrastructure planning.
- Track resource performance and enhance capabilities as per business needs.
- Create ETL routines, data models, queries, reports, and analyses.

This role requires you to have:
- 5+ years in data engineering with multi-technology pipeline development.
- ETL development with Azure Synapse and legacy Microsoft SSIS & Hadoop.
- Strong skills in data modeling and data warehousing (Kimball/Inmon).
- Experience with API integrations and building data products incrementally.
- Proficiency in SQL script writing.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience in technical leadership and mentoring in data engineering.
- Building/operating systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing.
- Familiarity with Azure services and big data tools.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP Data Services.
- Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum.
