Fidelity Investments is seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer for its Asset Management Technology team, tasked with enhancing systems that support the Investment Management, Research, Trading, and Investment Operations functions. This role exists to optimize data solutions for Equity Advisors, ensuring reliable, maintainable, and efficient code. Collaborating with a global team, the engineer will contribute to data-related projects that align with business objectives.

• Develop and enhance product features, datasets, and cloud-based services for Investment Professionals.

• Adopt and promote good engineering practices like test-driven development and continuous integration.

This role requires you to have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
• Expertise in data analysis and SQL/PLSQL performance tuning.
• Familiarity with agile development practices.

• ETL experience, preferably with Informatica.
• Experience with AWS services, Data APIs, Snowflake, and Python.
• Understanding of data warehousing.

The role is integral to the global Equity Data team, working alongside the Common Data, Data Modeler, DBA, and Data Architecture teams to focus on data needs for Equity Advisors.
