This position is for a renowned Biotechnology company with a cutting-edge aseptic manufacturing facility undergoing expansion in Dun Laoghaire, South Dublin. The Data Analyst will contribute to enhancing business processes through advanced analytics, fostering a culture of data use and visualisation.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Provide data analytics support for decision making.
• Develop and implement advanced analytics solutions.
• Foster a data analytics culture within QC staff through training and best practices.
• Define and advance a self-service reporting model.
• Identify and implement data analytics solutions for lab operation improvements.
• Develop and maintain Spotfire and Tableau reports.
• Execute report validation protocols.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing.
• Manage SharePoint and Microsoft Teams development activities.
• Write SQL queries for data requests and support routine data pull tickets.
• Perform ad hoc data mining and analysis.
• Explore and evaluate digital tools and techniques.
• Develop predictive models and assist in innovative data and analytics solutions.
• Create actionable analytical models and visualisations.

This role comes with the following benefits:

• Primarily remote work with some onsite expectations.

This role requires you to have:

• Third level qualification in data analytics, computer science or similar.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with Spotfire, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Organisational skills and time management.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills.
• Capability to prioritize competing tasks.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with advanced statistical or machine learning techniques.
