ABN AMRO's Detecting Financial Crime (DFC) consolidates all activities related to the detection of financial crimes within its bank network, both in the Netherlands and international subsidiaries. The team aims to eradicate financial crime from the bank's systems, contributing to societal responsibilities. With a workforce of about 3500, they focus on providing insights and decision-making support through data analytics in the fight against financial misconduct.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Combine and aggregate data from various sources using Power BI and SQL, providing insights through dashboards and reports.
- Conduct analyses to offer recommendations, focusing on risk-prone products within specific sectors.
- Ensure data products align with organizational objectives and work collaboratively in a Scrum team.
- Enable data-driven risk management for the bank by liaising with stakeholders across the organization.
- Mentor junior data analysts and maintain the quality of team outputs.

This role requires you to have:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the BI/Data domain.
- Proven expertise in Power BI with PL-300 certification or the ability to secure it shortly after onboarding.
- Knowledge of working with databases (ETL) and SQL.
- Proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with programming languages such as Python.
