APG is an international team within the Responsible Investments Domain, dedicated to providing strategic investment solutions through cloud technologies. They aim to support investment desks with the latest technology in a dynamic environment. The team is searching for a Data Engineer who can contribute to developing data pipelines and improving trading platforms.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Analyze and translate business needs into systems and processes.
- Set up and maintain Azure DevOps repositories.
- Maintain a Databricks workspace and manage dependencies.
- Develop and document data pipelines.
- Collaborate to enhance data models for business intelligence tools.
- Share knowledge with team members.
- Contribute to technology strategies.
- Design and validate pipeline/application architecture.
- Interact with team and end users on various deployments.

This role requires you to have:
- Proficiency in Python and/or other programming languages
- Knowledge of Data Engineering, DevOps, and Azure Data Platform
- Experience with Databricks and PySpark
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience with data modeling and querying
- Background in Computer Science or Engineering
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with setting up SQL databases
- Web development experience
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience coaching junior developers
