As an analyst at the Fiscale Inlichtingen en Opsporingsdienst (FIOD), you'll be tasked with visualizing and analyzing intelligence images to generate actionable insights. Through collaboration with your team and various partners, you'll contribute to creating a financially safer Netherlands. The FIOD operates in a complex and ever-changing fraud landscape, working closely with both national and international counterparts to investigate changes in fiscal and financial crime.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Translate intelligence images into useful insights for strategic decision-making
• Develop and manage dashboards, reports, documentation, and definitions for the FIOD intelligence process
• Analyze incoming data and assess data quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions
• Support and advise colleagues on data retrieval, preparation, and quality

This role requires you to have:

• HBO-level of education
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in business intelligence or a similar field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience with Power BI, data visualizations, and ETL processes
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL
• Affinity with combating fiscal and financial crime
• Recognized law enforcement officer or able to successfully complete the necessary training
