Converse is looking for a savvy Lead Data Engineer to drive the transformation of its data ecosystem. This role involves owning the Data & Analytics product roadmap, optimizing the data ecosystem for business intelligence, and working within a collaborative environment to turn complex data into actionable insights.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Own data and analytics from a product perspective, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Define and manage the data product roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements.
• Develop and maintain data models, warehouses, and pipelines.
• Utilize Databricks for processing big data and analytics.
• Implement and optimize ETL processes with Matillion ETL.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Communicate complex data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Enforce data governance policies and best practices.
• Enhance data processes, automation, and workflows.
• Mentor junior team members and promote continuous learning and innovation.

This role requires you to have:

• Proven experience in data management or engineering.
• Experience with Data & Analytics product ownership.
• Expertise in data modeling, warehouse design, and analysis.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud services.
• Experience with GitHub for version control.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Leadership qualities with a passion for mentorship.
