The Dutch Institute for Clinical Auditing (DICA) supports healthcare professionals by providing insightful data analyses through its 26 quality registrations. These analyses, presented through dashboards and discussions, help in benchmarking and improving healthcare quality. DICA's Information Team, consisting of data scientists and information analysts, is seeking a Data Engineer to advance their data management strategies.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Integrate new data sources and develop processes for data collection and merging.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to provide datasets for analysis and reporting.
- Develop automated data tests and execute quality controls.
- Translate data challenges into practical solutions and build a sustainable data architecture.

This role requires you to have:
- HBO/WO degree in medical informatics, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of data architectures, modeling techniques, and programming languages.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with FHIR and healthcare standards like SNOMED, ICD-10, LOINC, and ZIB.
