In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Maintain robust and scalable real-time data processing in Databricks (Scala).
- Improve data accessibility and usability across departments.
- Lead technical decisions for cloud-based data solutions and advise product teams.
- Develop and maintain API servers and streaming/batch data pipelines.
- Collaborate on IOT products like smart thermostats and energy insights.
This role comes with the following benefits:

This role requires you to have:
- Experience with REST API development (Spring or FastAPI).
- Understanding of streaming data ingestion and processing.
- Proficiency with MPP data platforms such as Spark and familiarity with Databricks.
- Java, Scala, and Python programming expertise.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including code reviews and CI/CD.
- Interest in DevOps/SRE principles for production deployment.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with high-volume time series data.
- Knowledge of data modelling and architecture patterns.
- Experience with Kubernetes and monitoring tools like Grafana.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
- Proficiency with NoSQL databases and RDBMS.
- Familiarity with SQL and tools like Snowflake and DBT.
- Interest in MLOps and data science techniques.
