In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a multifunctional team.
• Design, implement, deploy, and maintain data pipelines and machine learning solutions.
• Engage in data engineering tasks: manage data lineage, perform ELT/ETL processes, data cleaning, validation, wrangling, imputation, and optimize SQL queries.
• Improve alerting and monitoring processes.
• Automate tasks to focus the team on development.
• Coach junior colleagues and enhance team skills.

This role requires you to have:

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Experience in Agile environments and DevOps principles.
• Effective communicator of complex concepts.
• Proficient in data pipelines, SQL optimization, and various data engineering tasks.
• Experience in cloud-based deployment, preferably on AWS.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Pandas, SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with containerization using Docker or Podman.
• Strong software engineering skills.
