Gemeente Assen is undergoing a transition towards data-driven operations, emphasizing dependable and well-managed data. They seek a GIS/GEO data analyst to ensure the availability and usability of GEO information for the organization. This role is crucial in developing geographic applications and managing incoming data.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Process and model geographic data.
• Contribute to and evolve the ArcGIS Online Portal.
• Develop web services with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro.
• Create data models and manage GIS data.
• Develop applications based on ESRI maps.
• Advise on the use and tools related to GEO data.
• Collaborate with teams to develop information products related to policy and social themes.
• Serve as a primary contact for co-workers regarding GIS data queries and solutions.
• Offer proactive advice and contribute to innovative information provision solutions.

This role requires you to have:

• Minimum 3 years experience with ArcGIS (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online).
• Proficient in data modeling and working with databases (SQL).

• Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with Python, FME, or Arcade.
• Familiarity with working in an Agile environment.
