The Data Engineer will play a critical role in designing new data architectures and developing a Media Mix Modeling solution for enhanced marketing and CRM analytics. Team objectives focus on leveraging data to understand and refine marketing strategies, driving significant business impact.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize marketing-focused data pipelines using SQL and Google Cloud Platform technologies.
  • Implement Media Mix Modeling (MMM) solutions, including automated model training and data transformation processes.
  • Support the GCP infrastructure design and maintenance for enhanced data scalability and delivery.
  • Collaborate across departments to address data needs and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Ensure data quality and governance through quality checks and alerts.

This role requires you to have:

  • Proficiency in SQL, especially within data warehousing environments.
  • Experienced in Object-Oriented Programming, preferably in Python.
  • Background in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools, specifically using Python.
  • Expertise in Google Cloud Platform services like BigQuery and Cloud Composer.

You would benefit from having:

  • Experience with Media Mix Modeling or marketing attribution models.
  • Familiarity with Bayesian modeling and incrementality testing frameworks.
  • Retail industry experience.
