The Data Engineer role exists to build and maintain the data infrastructure necessary for developing innovative products and enhancing data initiatives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and build complex data pipelines processing transactional and other data.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to maintain data solutions and architecture.
• Advocate best practices in data engineering.
• Organize knowledge-sharing sessions on data security, compliance, and privacy standards.
• Develop data models and pipelines for research, reporting, and machine learning.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience building complex data pipelines (e.g., PySpark, Airflow).
• Proficiency with Python and SQL.
• Experience in designing data models and using SQL database management systems.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD tools, testing).
