ING is looking for a talented Data Scientist to join their Global Strategy & People Analytics team. This role involves building and deploying analytics products and models to support strategic decisions about employees, ensuring ING remains a vibrant workplace. The candidate will be part of a dynamic squad working on the front lines with business translators and data engineers.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and interpret business hypotheses and analyze datasets using available tools.
• Manage end-to-end business challenges, from problem identification to building proofs of concept.
• Develop or enhance data-driven analytical products using data science techniques.
• Provide insights and recommendations through data visualizations or algorithms.
• Support users in understanding data science principles and model behavior.
• Contribute to the data science community through knowledge sharing and presentation of work.

This role requires you to have:

• Proficiency in machine learning and data science models.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
• Ability to explain complex analyses to stakeholders.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
