They specialize in innovative solutions, leveraging data science to enhance the sustainability of businesses, governments, and NGOs. This internship, part of the Cities Division, is instrumental in supporting urban sustainability projects through data analysis.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop data tools and facilitate knowledge sharing within the Cities Data team.
- Analyze CO emissions and material consumption for Net Zero Pathway projects.
- Conduct material flow analysis to identify intervention points in urban systems.
- Utilize GIS and predictive models for sustainable city assessments.

- Passion for solving global challenges
- Knowledge in sustainability, impact analysis, and systems thinking
- Programming for data analysis with Python and Pandas
- Data visualization in Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience in research and analytics

You would benefit from having:
- Spatial analysis using QGIS or Python
- Familiarity with version control using Git
- Experience accounting for environmental impacts
- Proficiency in Dutch (for the Built Environment team)
Interns must be enrolled during the internship, have a residence permit, and possess a Dutch BSN.
