National Insurance Benefit Coordinators is seeking a Medior Analytics Engineer to advance their data strategy with a focus on migrating legacy systems to a cloud-based platform. The role exists to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, collaborating with both Risk Modelling and Reporting teams. Candidates will be vital in driving data solutions that empower multidisciplinary teams within the financial sector.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement solutions directly in the cloud platform ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Ensure high data quality through robust solutions and thorough testing.
- Work closely with the IT experts and Data & Analytics colleagues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models and transformations.
- Keep updated with industry trends and best practices in data modelling and analytics.

This role requires you to have:
- Experience with DBT and complex logic implementation.
- Proficiency in SQL and writing production-grade Python code.
- Strong familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related fields.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with risk or banking-specific regulations.
- Experience with MATLAB applications and risk model operationalization.
