The Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit (NZa) focuses on ensuring affordable and high-quality healthcare in the Netherlands. They are looking for an experienced data analyst to contribute to projects that enhance healthcare financing strategies. Joining a diverse team, the analyst will work closely with researchers and receive guidance from the Chief Economist to produce scientifically publishable work.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Analyze and visualize datasets for palliative care financing projects.
• Provide support to healthcare providers with quantitative inquiries.
• Evaluate alternative financing experiments through quantitative analysis.
• Present insights via dashboards and enable informed policy decisions.
• Collaborate with a project team to explore qualitative and quantitative research.
• Contribute to additional projects related to healthcare costs and usage analysis.

• Salary up to €6,110.94 depending on experience, based on a 36-hour workweek.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience with R, SQL, and Power BI or Shiny.
• Analytical and communicative capabilities.
• Ability to process large datasets and present insights clearly.
• At least three years of experience in data handling and analysis.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with policy change analysis.
• Ability to make work reproducible through scripts.
• Knowledge of dashboard creation in Power BI or Shiny.
• Experience with Git.
