Risk Data Engineer

NN Bank is searching for a Risk Data Engineer to join their dynamic Model Factory team. This role is vital for enhancing platform infrastructure and supporting risk modelling in the financial domain. The team aims to meet regulatory requirements and advance data management initiatives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements for Risk & Finance calculators into production-ready code.
• Collect and interpret business requirements from end-user stakeholders.
• Draft and document a functional design to support implementation.
• Implement solutions in PySpark using the Databricks platform.
• Conduct functional and technical testing, documenting outcomes.
• Use GIT for version control to review, approve, and store deliverables.
• Collaborate with the platform ops team for deployment and production release.
• Assist end-users or validators in understanding and utilizing calculation results.
• Stay informed on data engineering advancements and regulatory changes relevant to banking.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, and GIT on Azure DevOps.
• Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Risk & Finance calculators.
