The role is critical for optimizing bibliographic metadata and contributing to data services projects.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Transform library metadata for various bibliographic databases.
• Ensure data quality for back-end and front-end systems.
• Specify and configure system components including indexes and user interfaces.
• Participate in new implementation projects and improve existing data specifications.
• Provide third-level customer support and assist with data maintenance tasks.
• Utilize scripting languages and tools to optimize data processing.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in library or information science, data science, or computer science.
• Technical expertise in data systems and workflows.
• Experience with bibliographic metadata and data-driven processes.
• Proficiency with cataloguing formats, bibliographic data formats, and data standards.
• Unix/Linux environment experience and programming skills in Perl or Python.
