Rabobank ICT seeks a skilled Data Analyst to join its team in Thematic Investigations within the Financial Economic Crime (FEC) division. The role focuses on detecting and preventing large-scale financial crime by analyzing customer data. The team is pivotal in abstracting characteristics of FEC typologies, aiding in the maintenance of banking integrity. Advanced methods like Machine Learning will soon enhance the process of discovering patterns and insights.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate on projects related to financial-economic crime with FEC analysts.
• Translate thematic research suggestions into data queries to uncover illegal activity patterns.
• Contribute to the development of research environments and data capabilities.
• Seek valuable data sources to improve rule-based models.
• Explore new criminal modus operandi with domain experts.
• Work with data experts to combine data insights effectively.
• Ensure data quality and collaborate with data suppliers.
• Support analysts with data visualization for management reports and dashboards.
• Work with other teams within FEC for precise data request outcomes.
