The role is integral to advancing life-saving traffic solutions by managing data extraction and transformation into the Snowflake data warehouse. Collaborating with global teams, the position is based in the vibrant Amsterdam office, requiring in-office work twice a week.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ELT data pipelines from MySQL, Postgres, and text files to Snowflake.
• Utilize dbt for data transformations in Snowflake, ensuring scalable models.
• Design and implement real-time data ingestion using Kafka-like technologies.
• Integrate data from Puls, Xilium, and Flux into the data warehouse.
• Enhance pipeline performance, data quality, and scalability.
• Collaborate on reporting and analytics initiatives with Looker.
• Implement best practices in data engineering such as version control and security.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on data solutions.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience developing ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency with MySQL and Postgres.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar solutions.
• Proficiency in dbt for data management.
• Knowledge of Looker or similar reporting tools.
• Strong programming skills for data manipulation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
