The role aims to enhance the capabilities of the NATO Communication and Information Agency through expert data science methodologies. This opportunity exists within a dynamic team tasked with securing and optimizing communication and information systems for NATO and its allies.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Apply existing machine learning techniques to novel datasets and challenges.
• Evaluate and improve the performance of machine learning systems.
• Modify and maintain programs and scripts to meet standards.
• Monitor project progress and address issues in ML development.
• Collaborate on system lifecycle engineering and automation practices.
• Integrate ML modules into comprehensive solutions.
• Create and maintain data pipelines with data engineering principles.
• Assess emerging technologies and contribute to technology roadmaps.

This role requires you to have:

• Strong understanding of machine learning and statistical analysis.
• Experience with programming, machine learning, and software engineering.
• Proficiency in data science tools and programming languages such as Python and its frameworks.

You would benefit from having:
