In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data pipelines using cloud services such as Azure Databricks, GCP, and AWS.
• Create efficient data pipelines and execute complex transformations using ETL/SQL skills.
• Implement cloud platform data storage solutions with a preference for on-prem experience.
• Ensure data integrity and efficiency by managing slowly changing dimensions with incremental loads.
• Design and optimize data structures using techniques like 3NF and Dimensional Modeling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile, scrum environment.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a data engineer with emphasis on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services including Lambda, Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

You would benefit from having:

• Understanding of concepts such as Data Lakehouse and Data Mesh.
