Flexcity, part of the Veolia Group, is searching for a Database Analyst/Data Engineer to join its expanding data team in France, Brussels, or Amsterdam. The role supports Flexcity's mission to transition heat-intensive industries toward decarbonisation using Power-to-Heat technologies. The position offers collaboration with a multidisciplinary team aiming to leverage energy tech innovations.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable database solutions
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries
• Implement data models and database designs
• Develop ETL processes and data pipelines
• Ensure data quality and integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Implement database security and backup procedures
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance

This role requires you to have:

• Fluent in English
• Experience as a Database Analyst or Data Engineer
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
• Experience with data warehousing concepts
• Familiarity with ETL tools and processes
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques
• Proficiency in at least one programming language
