DeepOcean is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to enhance their Human Resources department's decision-making capabilities through data-driven insights. The role, based in Sandefjord, Norway, involves collaborating closely with key stakeholders to maintain data quality and facilitate data integration. The successful candidate will report to the Group Vice President of Human Resources.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the data team to manage and integrate HR data from various sources.
- Conduct analyses to identify trends and patterns in HR data.
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards to present insights.
- Translate complex data into visual reports and present them to stakeholders.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and provide recommendations.
- Develop and maintain data models ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Stay updated with industry trends in data analytics and apply advancements to HR analytics.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics
- Experience in data cleansing, modeling, and validation
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems
