Senior Data Strategist and Analyst

ALK, a Trimble Company, is in search of a Senior Data Strategist and Analyst to join their Field Systems - Business Transformation department. This crucial role involves leading data cleanup and migration from legacy systems to modern platforms, ensuring data integrity. The position is based in Christchurch, New Zealand, where the team collaborates to develop innovative technology solutions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Analyze subscription data in legacy systems and storage methods.
• Develop a strategy for migrating transactional data from Oracle ERP to SalesForce.
• Plan entitlement data migration to a new management system.
• Provide recommendations for successful migration processes.
• Implement data strategies to support business goals.
• Create dashboards to provide stakeholder insights.
• Conduct detailed data analysis for trends and improvements.
• Prepare and validate data for migration to new systems.
• Resolve data incompatibility issues and explore enrichment opportunities.
• Communicate data findings clearly to stakeholders.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in data management, migration, and database setup.
• Strong analytical skills for complex data interpretation.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, R, Excel, and Tableau.
• Experience with DOMO, SalesForce, and Oracle.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Understanding of data governance and quality best practices.
