In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collect, manipulate, and analyze data to support policy advice.
- Engage with stakeholders across MBIE and relevant sectors.
- Deliver analytical outputs and quantitative insights for decision-making.
- Support energy modelling and analysis within the Markets Domain.
- Develop and maintain data systems in the RSBED Domain.

This role requires you to have:
- Background in econometrics, applied economics, statistics, or data science.
- Experience with R or similar statistical programming language.

- Knowledge of modelling or forecasting.
