The Op RESPECT team at the Directorate of Organisational Development within the New Zealand Government is seeking a skilled Data Analyst Op RESPECT. This team is responsible for implementing a long-term strategy aimed at fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive culture within the NZDF. As a Data Analyst Op RESPECT, your role will involve designing and delivering a comprehensive data and IT system for Op RESPECT, monitoring and analyzing data, and providing valuable insights to the Op RESPECT program and Senior Leadership. With your expertise, you will contribute to the strategic planning guidance to advance the NZDF's goals in achieving the Op RESPECT vision. The role is based at Wellington in Defence House, with the flexibility of working from home for up to 2 days a week after the initial induction and orientation period.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Support the Op RESPECT Business Analyst to design and deliver a coordinated and integrated data and IT system for Op RESPECT
• Monitor, collate, analyze, and report on NZDF data from various sources
• Provide strategic planning guidance to ensure progress towards achieving the Op RESPECT vision

This role requires you to have:

• Knowledge of and experience with relational databases and business information tools/software
• Knowledge of analytical tools, technologies, and methodologies
• Ability to analyze large data sets
• Strong Excel skills
