The Data Science and Analytics team seeks a seasoned Data and Analytics Specialist to drive analytical excellence and strategic direction.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality analysis, modelling, and research to support infrastructure needs.
  • Apply advanced data science and statistical modelling to address critical challenges.
  • Develop and refine data engineering pipelines.
  • Enhance the capabilities of the data and analytics platform, including Azure, Databricks, and Azure DevOps.
  • Lead key analytical projects and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Integrate sector-specific insights into analytical work.
  • Create compelling data visualizations that engage users.

This role requires you to have:

  • End-to-end analytics experience, including data engineering, data cleaning, data science/modelling, and visualization.
  • Expertise in tools such as Azure, Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience handling diverse data formats, including APIs and geospatial data.
  • Best-practice technology usage and data handling.
  • Collaboration with diverse teams to gather data and develop practical models.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
  • Systems thinking ability to balance detail with big-picture context.
