Te Tāhū Hauora Health Quality and Safety Commission (Te Tāhū Hauora) is a Crown entity focused on enhancing the safety and quality of healthcare services. The Senior Data Analyst will provide technical advice and analytic support, especially for the Mental Health and Addiction Quality Improvement programme.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice and deliver high-level analytic reports and insights
- Support key projects and work streams
- Facilitate the transition of the Mental Health and Addiction Quality Improvement programme to Health New Zealand
- Collaborate with health districts to ensure high-quality care for mental health and addiction patients

This role requires you to have:
- Experience working with PRIMHD and other health data sets
- Experience developing insights on improvement work within project teams
- Proactive problem-solving abilities for data issues
- Advanced data analysis skills
- Proficiency in R
You would benefit from having:
- Experience creating visualisations using Tableau or R Shiny
The position can be a secondment and is fixed term until June 2025.
