MBIE seeks a Senior Data Analyst for its Markets Domain team, focused on advancing energy modelling to support critical policy decisions. The role involves leading complex analytics projects and enhancing the Ministry's energy modelling capabilities. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Lead large, complex analytical projects in the energy sector.
- Deliver a compelling evidence base to inform key policy decisions in energy.
- Manage a complex modelling and analytical work programme.
- Develop and maintain core modelling tools for the Ministry.
- Analyze energy supply, demand, and greenhouse emissions futures.
- Work closely with policy teams to provide necessary evidence.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders across government and the energy sector.
