New Zealand Parliament seeks an HR Reporting and Data Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Wellington, CBD. This role exists to support the team during a transition to the iChris system, ensuring HR data accuracy and impactful decision-making within the Parliamentary Service and the Office of the Clerk. Join a collaborative team dedicated to providing reliable and insightful data analysis.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Manage the production and analysis of HR metrics on a set schedule.
  • Develop and maintain a quantitative analysis process from data cleaning to findings presentation.
  • Create comprehensive and actionable HR reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align reporting needs with business objectives.
  • Audit and maintain the accuracy of HR data.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Regularly audit HR data for inconsistencies.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of position establishment data for reporting.

This role requires you to have:

  • Experience with Chris21 and/or iChris systems.
  • HR reporting and data analysis proficiency.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills.
  • Excellent time-management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

You would benefit from having:

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
