In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Work with both quantitative and qualitative data, ensuring alignment with kaupapa Māori values.
  • Create actionable dashboards and reports for services and funders.
  • Conduct regular system reviews for process refinement.
  • Collect critical stakeholder demographics and engagement data.
  • Track and report input and output metrics.
  • Collect and analyze outcome data to assess observed changes and long-term results.
  • Deliver concise metric summaries and detailed insights for service optimization.

This role requires you to have:

  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, especially within the health or social services sector.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.

You would benefit from having:

  • Understanding of kaupapa Māori and tikanga Māori principles.
  • Experience with statistical software such as R and Python.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
