The role involves implementing high-tech, data-led solutions that are vital to Auckland's infrastructure delivery. The Data Engineer will be a pivotal part of the BI & Data Engineering team, collaborating to meet evolving business needs.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Implement and optimize end-to-end data solutions.
• Ingest complex datasets from various sources.
• Design and develop data models.
• Build secure ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Create data visualisations to deliver insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for business process alignment.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a BI professional or Data Engineer.
• Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with Coalesce or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Knowledge of Kimball Dimensional Modelling.
• Experience with GitHub.
