As a Risk Analyst I, you will play a crucial role in identifying and preventing high-risk transactions and fraudulent activities. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Independently monitor a specified goal amount of alerts daily to identify high-risk transactions and fraudulent processing activity.
• Utilize RiskNet to monitor merchant authorizations, deposits, and refunds, identifying suspect transactions and initiating further investigation or credit referral.
• Verify information with card issuing banks to ensure transaction validity.
• Validate suspicious transactions by contacting merchants and obtaining necessary supporting documents.
• In accordance with guidelines, capture and hold funds when warranted and recommend reserve release where appropriate.
• Process electronic funds transfers and wires for merchants as needed.
• Collaborate with the Investigations Team to gather information on suspect fraud transactions for timely action.
• Educate merchants on company policies and procedures to prevent financial losses while mitigating losses for Global Payments.
• Provide high-quality customer service and subject matter expertise to internal departments, third-party partners, independent sales organizations, and credit card issuers and financial institutions.

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree.
• 1 year of risk and fraud management experience.
