8 Bits Code AB is on the lookout for a passionate Data Engineer to participate in one of the most extensive data transformation endeavors. This role involves constructing data products within the Data Mesh framework to align with the set vision and objectives. The position is part of the AI, Analytics & Data Domain, dedicated to enhancing global brand data quality and accessibility.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Build, optimize, and support existing and new data products to meet target visions.
- Champion the DevOps principles, particularly CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure management using GCP.
- Ensure data products adhere to standards for security, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and stakeholders to define product visions.
- Engage with internal and external product teams concerning the data mesh framework.
- Promote continuous improvement and reduce technical debt within teams.
- Stay updated with the latest data, analytics, and cloud technologies.
