In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for building, optimizing, and supporting data products.
• Advocate for DevOps principles and manage CI/CD pipelines and terraform, focusing on GCP infrastructure.
• Ensure data products function independently and meet security and performance standards.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and stakeholders to align on the vision for data products.
• Engage with product teams on data mesh concepts.
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce technical debt.
• Stay updated with the latest in data, analytics, and cloud technologies.

This role requires you to have:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer on GCP.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies and infrastructure.
• Experience with GCP tools such as Dataflow, Dataproc, and BigQuery.
• Knowledge of data formats like Parquet and Avro.
• Experience with SQL or similar query languages.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Understanding of data modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with NoSQL and RDBMS databases.
• Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
