With a vast team of over 2900 across major global offices, Etraveli is enhancing its capabilities with a new data warehouse solution. This role is key to supporting our data-driven decision-making processes, with a focus on improving data solutions and efficiency.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain, and evolve the data warehouse solution.
• Collaborate with database administrators, operations engineers, and stakeholders across departments.
• Design and implement tasks related to the data warehouse solution.
• Work with both cloud and on-premises data sources for a hybrid data infrastructure.

This role requires you to have:

• Strong interest in data warehouse setup, maintenance, and evolution.
• Ability to analyze and undertake tasks independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with data warehousing technologies and methods, including information modeling.
• Experience with data processing and distributed query engines such as Spark or Dremio/Trino.
• Familiarity with multiple scripting languages like Bash, Python, and SQL.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience in high-performance data processing with techniques such as indexing, partitioning, and caching.
• Experience with data integrations and modeling for efficient query performance.
• Previous role as a database administrator.
• Comfortable with Linux, Docker, and ideally Kubernetes.
