The Data Platform Team requires a Data Engineer to expand and improve Kivra's cloud-based infrastructure, empowering data analysts and engineers to operate more efficiently.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an internal platform for data management tools and workflows.
• Automate processes and ensure adherence to compliance standards, such as GDPR.
• Enhance data accessibility for product and functional teams, supporting business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Design, improve, and sustain scalable and robust data infrastructure.
• Maintain full oversight and autonomy over development solutions from design to implementation.

This role requires you to have:

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, version control, containerization, and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform.

You would benefit from having:

• Knowledge of data engineering tools like Airflow and dbt.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.

The role is based in Stockholm with a hybrid work policy. Fluency in English is required, with Swedish as a beneficial addition. Kivra cannot sponsor new work permits but can renew existing ones.
