This role in the Data Science Customer Applications team supports customer data analysis needs, working closely with internal departments to drive success in scientific studies.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Provide statistical consulting services to customers.
- Assist with troubleshooting customer data issues.
- Lead the design and execution of studies, including data analysis and consultation.
- Coordinate and participate in customer meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Develop and oversee data analysis methods and products for customer applications.
- Stay current with and apply innovative data analysis techniques.
- Engage in internal meetings focused on customer service enhancement.
- Optimize processes for data analysis, delivery, and reporting in customer projects.
- Promote customer engagement and effective utilization of Olink data.
- Act as a lead Data Science liaison for academic and industry partnerships, including managed projects.
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts and thought leaders, facilitating their research.
- Serve as a resource for expert methodology and statistical knowledge.
- Tackle complex problems with a wide perspective to identify solutions.
- Lead functional teams or projects, as needed.
- Advise on best practices for a variety of data topics.
- Contribute to scholarly publications.
- Mentor junior team members.

This role requires you to have:
- MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Molecular Biology or similar field.
- 8 or more years of industry experience for MSc or 3 years for PhD in advanced data analysis and statistics within the Life Science sector.
- Proficient programming skills in R or Python.
- Extensive use of statistical methods in medical or biological research, particularly with high-throughput data in proteomics and genomics.
- Strong analytical capabilities and interest in modern statistical methods like machine learning.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with RMarkdown and Git.
- Familiarity with data lakes.
Applicants must have permanent residency as no relocation or visa sponsorship is provided and should be based near Uppsala to be able to attend the headquarters at least three days a week.
